Added fields in project settings
We have added some information fileds in the projects that can be useful in your daily work. You can retreive the email and phone of your client.
International paymentsWith Tic-Tac you can select the language and currency for your invoice. Now there are some additional fields to tailor your invoice for the project. International invoices must often include the customer VAT number. And in some cases you may want to specify a special bank account and some payment instruction to go with it.
The Project Budget in Word or ExcelAfter calculating a budget for your project, the next step is often to submit a proposal to your customer. Press a button and you will now get your budget downloaded in a Word or Excel document. | ||||||||||||

Invoicing in other languages and in other currenciesCustomers with international assignments have asked for the option to invoice in other languages and in other currencies. The solution we now offer is very flexible. You choose language and currency for the invoices for every project. You keep the value of the main currency internally to have the possibility to compile and compare.
Start- and stopdate for projects and co-workers
Our ambition is that it should be easy to report time. We have chosen to put settings that you not always use for projects and co-workers under a new link: Advanced settings Now you can set a start- and stop date for projects and co-workers. You can only report time and expences within this specific period. Stopwatch for every line in the weekly view.
Much going on? Now there is a stopwatch on every line in the weekly view so you can have full control and no time will be wasted! Click on the watch to start the stopwatch for the activity you are working on. Click again to stop or click on another watch to change activity. The time will be saved automatically. Here you can do the settings for language and time zone. The new feature is that you can enter a date input limit which inhibit time reporting or changes before this date. It can be practical to lock the reporting when invoicing is done for the period. | ||||||||||||

In the Weekly View hours are now saved without reloading the page.
This applies to all users that use newer versions of common web browsers, for example Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2.0. The new Report & Invoice view gives you a better overview
The new view immediately gives you an overview over reported time per project and co-worker.
You can drill down to more details by clicking on a project or a person. A matrix summing up hours on a daily basis
One user requested a quick overview of total hours worked in the form of a matrix for every co-worker and day. We thought that was a great idea and created this report. Thanks Garry! The Project overview summarizes the current status
The Project overview report now contains more information.
Now the balance for a certain time is calculated, based on the different activity prices.
You can also see if there are entries that have not been invoiced yet.
Time, monthly spread shows you the current trend
This report can be generated for one, several or all projects. It shows the current trend, how the compounded use of time is increasing or decreasing. Tic-Tac data downloaded to ExcelFrom Tic-Tac you can download your company's data into you own computer. It's an add-on which we call Tic-Tac web service.
We have an example for Excel where a macro imports data from Tic-Tac into a spread sheet.
It's an efficient way to create custom reports for your particular situation. | ||||||||||||

Five languages, four currencies and a whole lot of people
We have translated Tic-Tac into several languages and new users are coming to us from Germany, Great Britain, Denmark and Spain.
